Pines & Poinsettias Card

I made this beautiful card with my new Stampin' Up! Bells & Boughs stamp set. It's similar to a card that I made a month or so ago but I used one of my new Tim Holtz Embossing Diffusers to create the flat oval in the center. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The diffuser was fairly easy to use and it's a nice effect.

I started with a burgundy base then added a green layer. I embossed the front layer with my Stampin' Up! Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder and an oval diffuser. I lightly sponged Stampin' Up! Cherry Cobbler ink on the embossed flowers. The stamped the image with Basic Black ink and colored it with alcohol markers (I just love the vibrant colors!) Next I added a small amount of glue to the center of the two larger flowers and added the small gold beads. Then I added a few random touches of Diamond Stickles Glitter Glue. I stamped the sentiment with a stamp from my SU! More Merry Messages set w/Cherry Cobbler ink. Finally I finished with a couple sprays of Tattered Angel Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist. Here's a couple pics of the inside:

  1. Isn't this the Bells & Boughs set? It doesn't look like the Pines and Poinsettias set, that's why I am asking. Great cards!
