Pink Floral Birthday Card

Please contact me if you'd like to purchase this card

I made this beautiful birthday card with my Secret Garden Bundle and I absolutely love how it turned out! The colors and flowers are gorgeous and I love the layout! It took a while to make but it was well worth it.

I started with a dark pink base then added a light pink layer and set it aside. The front layer's white card stock that I embossed with a Stampin' Up! Honeycomb embossing folder. First I sponged the front (white) layer's edges with Positively Pink ink then attached it to the light pink middle layer, then to the base. Next I cut out the pink oval with a Spellbinder's Shapeabilities die and attached it to the front layer. Then I cut out the white oval with the same die (I just cut the edge off w/an exacto knife). Next I sponged the white oval's edges and stamped the sentiment with Positively Pink ink and attached it to the pink oval.

Now onto the flowers. . . First I stamped the solid pink flowers onto white card stock with Positively Pink ink and cut them out with Framelits dies. Next I heat embossed the other two flowers on white card stock with White Craft ink and white embossing powder then cut them out with Framelits dies. Next I sponged the centers of both embossed flowers with the Positively Pink ink then sponged the rest of them with Pretty in Pink ink. Next I added Gold Lame' Smooch Accent ink to the center of each flower then attached them to the front layer with mini pop dots. Then I stamped the leaves on white card stock with Old Olive ink, cut them out with Framelits dies, and attached them to the front layer with mini pop dots. Finally I finished with a couple sprays of Tattered Angel Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Mist.
