Multiple Butterflies Thinking of You Card

Please contact me if you'd like to purchase this card

I hope that all of you had an awesome 4th of July and are enjoying your long holiday weekend. Did any of you do anything special? Nothing exciting happened here. My son walked to his best friend's house at around 9 or so that evening, my husband worked till after midnight, and I just worked on cards while I enjoyed having the house to myself. Perhaps I should have gone outside because my neighborhood always goes hog wild with fireworks but I just wasn't in the mood this year. Anyway, now onto my card. . .

I made this pretty card with my Sizzix Butterfly Migration embossing folder. I got the idea for this card from one that was posted on Splitcoaststampers.com by yellowrose46. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful card! I love how this turned out and it was really easy to make.

For some strange reason every time I try to emboss the front of a card I always end up with lines and streaks everywhere so I created the base then embossed another piece of card stock and attached it to the base. I used two different Martha Stewart punches to create the blue butterfly on the bottom and the yellow one in the middle. I did the rest with my Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit (definitely one of my fav tools!). I attached the butterflies with Stampin' Up! Stampin' Dimensionals then stamped the sentiment with a stamp from my Bold & Basic Greetings set and Positively Pink Classic Stampin' Pad. That's it, it's that easy to make and the colors make it so pretty!

As always please let me know if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help. I always appreciate any comments/suggestions that you'd like to share. Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!
