Purple Daisy Thank You Card

I made this pretty card with my Stampin' Up! Reason to Smile stamp set. Although I haven't used it much I really do like this set. I like how this turned out. I really like the layout and of course I love the color LOL! Here's how to make it:

First cut a 5 3/4" x 9" piece of white card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 4 3/8" x 5 5/8" piece of purple for the first layer, a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of white for the front layer, a 3" x 4 1/2" piece of purple for the large rectangle's first layer, a 2 7/8" x 4 3/8" piece of Stampin' Up! Designer Paper for the large rectangle's front layer, a 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" piece of purple for the flower's background and a 2 1/4" x 3" piece of white for the flower.

Next dry emboss the front layer with a Cuttlebug Textile embossing folder then cut out the ovals with a Cricut George and Basic Shapes cartridge and set them aside. Next attach the designer paper to it's first layer then to the front layer. Then using a Stamp a ma jig stamp the flower in Stazon Jet Black ink and color it with a blender pen and Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum and Old Olive inks. Next highlight the flower with Diamond Stickles glitter glue and allow to dry completely. Then sponge the white oval's edges and stamp the sentiment with a Stampin' Up! Kindness Matters set in Perfect Plum ink. Next attach the flower to it's background then to the front layer. Then attach the white oval to the purple one then to the front layer with mini pop dots. Next cut out the butterflies with a Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit, attach them to the front layer with mini pop dots, attach the front layer to the middle layer, the middle layer to the base and enjoy!

I also made this in pink. Here's a pic:

I stamped the front butterfly with an Inkadinkado stamp and the sentiment with a Stampin' Up! Bold Blossom Greeting stamp. Wow I did better with that than I thought I would LOL! Make a Cake Card

.

I made this cute card with my Stampin' Up! Make a Cake stamp set. I've always had issues with this set because even with a Stamp a ma jig I have a heck of a time aligning the images correctly. I've driven myself looney on more than one occasion with this set so the moral of this story is this is DEFINITELY a set that you'll need a stamp positioner LOL! Despite that I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. The colors look awesome together. Here's how to make it:

First cut a 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" piece of light blue card stock and fold in half for the base, a 4" x 5 1/2" piece of pink card stock for the middle layer, a 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" piece of Patio Party Designer Series Paper for the front, a 2" x 3 1/2" piece of dark blue for the cake's background, a 1 3/4" x  3 1/4" piece of white for the cake and a 1" x 4" piece of pink card stock for the banner.

Using a Stamp a ma jig stamp the cake's base in Stampin' Up! Soft Sky ink, the cake in Stampin' Up! Pink Pirouette, then using ink pads and a blender pen color the sides of the pennant stamp with Stampin' Up! Night of Navy and the center with Pink Pirouette inks. Next color the butterflies stamp with a blender pen and Night of Navy, Soft Sky and Pink Pirouette inks then attach it to the dark blue base. Next cut the end of the banner with a Stampin' Up! Hearts a Flutter die and heat emboss the sentiment with Versamark ink and white embossing powder. Then cut the butterfly out of light blue card stock with a Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit. Next attach the cake, banner, and butterfly to the Designer Series Paper, attach the DSP to the pink layer then the pink layer to the base. Finally attach the self-adhesive rhinestones and glue the diamond jewel. Enjoy!

Hope is a Wish with a Little More Clout Card

Here's another card that I made with my Stampin' Up! Blooming with Kindness stamp set (see I told you it was versatile! LOL 😋) I love how this turned out. I love the monochromatic Blackberry Bliss, the flowers are gorgeous and the sponged background looks great too! Here's how to make it:

First cut a 5 3/4" piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock and fold in half for the base, and a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white card stock for the front.

Next sponge the background on the white card stock with Blackberry Bliss ink then randomly fleck it with water (a straw or your fingers work great!) and allow to dry. Then stamp the lighter flowers with the double-stamping technique (ink your stamp, stamp on a piece of scrap paper then your card stock w/out re-inking), then the darker flowers and sentiment as you normally do. Next cut out the butterflies with a Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit and attach them with mini pop dots. Then attach the front to the base and enjoy!

Elegant Eggplant ink on the front layer in various shades then use a straw (or other high tech flicking device lol!) to flick water randomly on the card stock and allow it to dry. In the mean time stamp the koala using Stazon Jet Black ink then color it with an aqua painter and Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake and Elegant Eggplant inks. Next attach a self-adhesive rhinestone to the center of the flower. Then cut out the butterflies using a Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embosslit and attach the self-adhesive rhinestones in the center of each. Next create your bow using your desired technique. I attached ribbon around the card stock using adhesive on the back of both sides then made the bow using a mini bowdabra. I just love that thing and use it a lot. Here's a pic if you're not familiar with it:

Next all that's left to do is attach the bow w/adhesive or hot glue (preferably hot glue if you actually want it to stick lol!), attach the butterflies with mini pop dots, then assemble the card and enjoy!

Please let me know if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help. I always appreciate any comments/suggestions that you'd like to share.  Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!
