I made this pretty card with my Stampin' Up! Bloom with Hope stamp set. I really like how it turned out. The colors look great together, I love the background and it was really easy to make. Here's how to make it:

First cut a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of Stampin' Up! Blackberry Bliss card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" piece of black for the middle layer and a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white for the front.

Next stamp the background in Blackberry Bliss ink with a stamp from the Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Grunge set then stamp the sentiment and flower in Stazon Jet Black ink. Next water color the flower's center with an aqua painter and Stampin' Up! Crushed Curry ink, the petals with Blackberry Bliss and the stem with Old Olive. Then punch out the butterfly with a Stampin' Up! Bitty Butterfly Punch, attach it with a mini pop dot, attach the front to the middle layer then to the base and enjoy!

Please let me know if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help. I always appreciate any comments/suggestions that you'd like to share. Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!

Bloom with Hope Daisy Birthday Card

I made this pretty card with my Stampin' Up! Bloom with Hope stamp set. It has four different blooms so it's fairly versatile. The colors look nice together and the hardwood panel adds a nice touch so I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. Here's how to make it:

First cut a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of pink card stock and fold it in half for the base, a 4 1/4" x 5" piece of green for the front, a 1 3/4" x 6" piece of white for the strip, a 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of pink for the image background, and a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of white for the image.

Then stamp the green card stock with a stamp from the Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Grunge set in Old Olive ink. Next stamp the white strip with a Stampin' Up! Hardwood stamp in Crumb Cake ink, then on the white square, stamp the flowers and stems in Stazon Jet Black ink. Next watercolor the stems and flower centers with an aqua painter and an Old Olive ink pad then color the petals with a Stampin' Blendabilities Pink Pirouette marker set. Then stamp the flower on a piece of scrap paper, color it the same as the others, cut it out then attach it to the center flower with a mini pop dot. Next cut out the labels for the sentiment with Spellbinders Labels Four dies and stamp the sentiment with a stamp from the Stampin' Up! Wetlands set in Crumb Cake ink. Then punch the large butterfly out of pink card stock with a Stampin' Up! Elegant Butterfly punch and the smaller one out of green with a Bitty Butterfly punch. Then start assembling the card. First sponge the edges of each piece with Crumb Cake ink then attach the green card stock to the base. Next tie Stampin' Up! Hemp Twine around the strip, attach it to the base over the green card stock, then attach the Stampin' Up! Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon. Next attach the flowers to their background then to the base over the ribbon. Then attach the sentiment to its pink background with a mini pop dot then to the flowers with another mini pop dot. Finally attach the butterflies to each other then to the sentiment with mini pop dots and enjoy!

Blackberry Bliss/Lost Lagoon Blooming with Kindness

Here's the last of the cards that I made with my Stampin' Up! Blooming with Kindness stamp set (for now anyway LOL!). I love how it turned out. The colors look amazing together, I love the flowers and that background. Here's how to make it:

Next randomly stamp the base with a stamp from a Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Grunge set in Blackberry Bliss ink. Then using a Stamp a ma jig stamp the lighter row of flowers with the double-stamping technique (ink your stamp, stamp on a piece of scrap paper then your card stock w/out re-inking) in Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon inks. Next stamp the darker row of flowers as you normally do with the same colors. Then stamp the sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink, attach the front to the second layer then to the base and enjoy!

Pink and Green Blooming with Kindness Card

I made this pretty card with my Stampin' Up! Blooming with Kindness stamp set. I absolutely love this set!!! The flowers are gorgeous and really versatile too! I like how this turned out, the colors look great together, the two shades give it a 3D effect, and I love that background! Here's how to make it:

First, cut 6" x 9 1/2" piece of pink card stock and fold in half for the base, a 4" x 5 1/8" piece of green card stock for the middle layer, and a 3 3/4" x 4 7/8" piece of white card stock for the front layer.

Next randomly stamp the background on the base with a stamp from the Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Grunge set in Stampin' Up! Rose Red ink and set it aside. Next using a Stamp a ma jig stamp the two lighter flowers with the double-stamping technique (ink your stamp then stamp on a piece of scrap paper then on your card stock w/out re-inking) with Rose Red ink, then stamp the darker flowers with the Rose Red ink as you normally do. I love this technique, it gives the project kind of a 3D effect. Next stamp the sentiment, attach the front to the green card stock, then the green to the base and enjoy!

Happy Hoppy Easter Card

I made this colorful and cheerful Easter card using my Stampin' Up! For Peeps' Sake and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets. I love both sets because the images in the For Peeps' Sake set are adorable and the sentiments are hysterical while the Gorgeous Grunge set is so versatile. This wasn't one of my favorite cards when I made it but it has grown on me a bit. I wish it were a little easier to cut out the chicks and small eggs. Here's how to make it:

First cut a 6" x 9 1/2" piece of pink card stock and fold it in half for the base and a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" piece of white for the front layer.

It's been over a year since I made this (of course I didn't write anything down . . . nooooooo that would be waaaayyyyyy too easy lol!) so I'm not exactly sure of what colors I used. I'll give it my best guess (all are Stampin' Up! colors). First stamp the background (I used a stamp from my Gorgeous Grunge set) in Pink Pirouette ink. Then color each chick on the chick stamp a different color using either markers or ink pads with a blender pen (I think I used Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, Lovely Lilac and Pink Pirouette inks) and using a Stamp a ma jig stamp directly on the background. Next create a 3D effect by stamping the same image on scrap paper and cut out both chicks and the egg then attach them over the previous images using mini pop dots. Then stamp the bottom edge either using individual eggs or a border stamp. I'm not sure who made the border stamp that I used as it doesn't have any identifying marks on it. Then color the eggs on the egg border stamp from the For Peeps' Sake set a different color, stamp it on a piece of white scrap paper, cut them out then attach them to the front layer with mini pop dots. Next create the die cut for the sentiment using a Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die, sponge the edges in Pink Pirouette ink and stamp the sentiment as shown by coloring the stamp with markers . Then all you have to do is attach it with a mini pop dot, attach the front layer to the base and enjoy!

Then stamp the bird with black Stazon Jet Black ink, color it using an aqua painter with Stampin' Up! Soft Sky and Pumpkin Pie inks, attach it to it's Pool Party background then to the front layer. Then cut out the sentiment's background with a Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs die. Next on a white circle die cut, stamp the sentiment in Soft Sky ink, attach the self-adhesive pearls, attach it to it's background then to the front layer . Next make the flowers with a small flower punch, attach the self-adhesive pearls, then attach them below the bird with mini pop dots. Then attach the front layer to the base and enjoy!
