Purple Ombre Flower Shop Thank You Card

I made this gorgeous card with my Stampin' Up! Flower Shop, Sincere Salutations and Stampendous Jumbo Peony stamp sets using the emboss resist technique. Click here for an awesome tutorial. Purple's my favorite color so of course I love how it turned out. Here's how to make it:

First cut a 5 1/2" x 11" piece of purple card stock and fold it in half for the base and a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of white for the front layer.

Next heat emboss the flowers and flourish on white card stock with Versamark ink and white embossing powder then sponge Stampin' Up! Elegant Eggplant ink from darker to lighter starting on the right. The embossing will resist the ink so lightly rub a paper towel over the embossed images to remove ink. Next heat emboss the same flowers on vellum, cut them out then attach them to the front layer with mini pop dots. Then all that's left is to stamp the sentiment, attach the front layer to the base and enjoy!

Please let me know if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help. I always appreciate any comments/suggestions that you'd like to share.  Thank you for stopping by, have a great day!
